Shadow is my daughter Kerry’s Malamute. He is her pride and joy and when she moved into her own house we agreed he would stay with us and the rest of our dogs.

He is an absolute darling and is as soft as a brush. He loves people and children and also other dogs. Anyone who meets him can’t help falling for his charms and he will howl until you stroke and make a fuss of him.

I work in a school for physically handicapped students and Shadow and Tia both regularly come to school with me to mix with the students. They are gentle with the students and have their photo in every classroom. At Christmas I decorated the rig and the dogs pulled Father Christmas in on it. The students faces were priceless. Every carol that was sung Shadow howled through it as well, it was a fantastic day.

Shadow loves the show ring and enjoys every minute he’s in there. He has done very well and we are very proud of him.

He is eye tested clear and has a hip score of 10.
